I then tried it with the Honestech software. The last time I used it (2 or 3 months ago) it worked fine. I even changed the usb ports and this made no difference. I had a capture device (The Honestech vid box which had been working fine to this point) and everything was plugged in correctly. I followed the troubleshooting steps provided.
